Repetito 3 is a multichannel looper software for live performance for Mac and PC.
Featuring
- 2 audio output configurations: one where loop channels are routed to the output channels,
another where loop channels are routed to mix buses;
- 4 looper rhythm modes: Predefined Durations, Free Loops, Free Loops + Metronome, Free
Loops + Varispeed;
- up to 8 mono or stereo input channels, up to 16 loop channels, up to 8 mix bus channels;
- Varispeed + reverse playback on all loop channels in all rhythm modes + Session Varispeed
when in Free Loops + Varispeed;
- in/out latency detection for precise input/output audio synchronization;
- MIDI Beat Clock and Ableton Link* synchronization;
- Repetito 3 is a plugin host (VST3 + AudioUnit on macOS): both instrument and effect plugins
can be added on each type of audio channels (input channels, loop channels, output channels);
- plugin parameters can be controlled live or automated (LFO, random, etc..);
- Parts, which can be used to structure a Song, for instance if you have an intro or a chorus;
- Session Saving and Loading, with/without recorded loops;
- Pre-recorded loops can be added to a session;
- entirely controllable through MIDI commands with easy MIDI learn, for playing live on stage or
in a studio;
- Performance Rec: all audio being processed (inputs/loops/outputs) can be recorded live while
playing, one file per channel;
Requires
- an external audio device (though tests can be done with an internal audio device);
- Foot or hand MIDI controller(s);
*Ableton Link disclaimer: since Repetito cannot be imposed an external beat, other applications or devices
can only receive synchronization information and should not change tempo. Repetito forces tempo and
phase to other peers and therefore does not fully support the Ableton Link protocol.
