may i just add Luna free daw has shape and that is the best free vst instrument going , top quality sounds all the way through

Interestingly I just discovered that the project Sam free orchestra made me eligible for a crossgade to the full version of Kontact,which I didn’t buy because I don’t really need it or have the storage space for the factory library . I also realize Komplete is a better choice probably but I thought I’d share it anyway because somebody out there may be interested in getting just Kontakt

Pianobook (specifically, Dan Keen's Soft String Spurs and Solo Cello Spurs get used here, but there are a lot of gems on that site, all for free) (various formats, but all samples are .wav regardless)

These are free but need full version of Kontakt:

Actually you will if you look enough. I have an entire folder in my browser with free stuff and freebie sites I've found, including those you and others listed and a lot more...if there was an easy way to cut and paste those links online, I'd do it, but again, they can all be found if one looks, and many are also well known in the "ITB" crowd (Amplesound, Embertone, KLANG, the list goes on...). In fact for me part of the fun was the hunt.

i do know of those aswell but i only listed the best ones u can add them here , i swear klang are not kontakt player ? if something’s full kontakt i don’t consider if free ( i know embertone is ) it’s like saying there is a free car to eveyone that owns a house , well everyone doesn’t own a house , as for the sfz ones they have been surpassed by some of these above in sound quality , but i’ll put ember tone , there are more i know i just have to remember cheers bud
