Match microphones with DeFilter

I'm curious if DeFilter is a good way to EQ match different microphones? I tried to let it learn on one microphone, saves that as filter and loading it on the other track as target EQ and let it learn again. Results weren't good at all. Is it even intended for something like this and if so what would the workflow be? Thanks.

The procedure you describe would be correct, so I'm not sure why the results aren't good. Do you learn from very short fragments?
