I have a Muse Receptor Qu4ttro. It runs fine, but I need to replace the drive with solid state. I'd like to update a couple of the programs in it. Is there anyone who does that kind of work or who can help me? I'm willing to pay.

There is a specific Muse Receptor group here on KVR...

you might want to try asking there. I'm actually looking to do the same thing on my Quattro. I don't think you'll be able to update much on it though I'm afraid.

Get a modern computer with a pair of SSD's, and a decent audio/midi interface, running a turn-key musicians linux like AVLinux. It has the yabridge plugin wrapper with a gui, a recent wine-staging installation, Reaper and Mixbus daw demos, and is a decade newer. Most windows plugin software works well, but those with ilok, pace, or absurd registration schemes likely won't. I use things from IK, NI, KV331, BlueCat, Tone 2, discoDSP, and many small-shop coders. Put the .wine folder on it's own SSD, and when you have things set up and working, stop updating the linux.
You can use a separate linux on a usb drive, to test the future.
Cheers
