What's my PC bottleneck? Threading?

Bit of a necro this but...
Which interface did you prefer between the BFProFS and the ULMk5?

haha, no worries. The correct answer is neither!
It's more expensive, but I found that RME Fireface UCX II is the one, cos it's kind of like the best bits of both the BFProFS and the ULMk5.

However for me ultimately I swapped to an M2 Macbook Pro a year ago and I'm just amazed how good it is. Twice as fast as my powerful PC, totally silent, incredible battery and portability and zero issues or time spent with tech support for audio interfaces. I've been a PC/Windows/Android kinda guy for ever and really don't like Apple, but since swapping over I've just been so much more productive musically and had no problems to deal with at all. A few years ago it was borderline I think, but since the M processors, I'd consider it a no brainer.
