I know that the name 'Acustica Audio' triggers extremely opposite reactions, especially here on KVR forums...
...nonetheless I'd love to draw your attention to my latest Acqua plug-in for N4/N4Player:

IMHO it's a dead ringer for its hardware sibling, a 1966 Blackface Twin S/N A07091.

Here's a quick A/B test, the usual hardware vs. software comparison.
There are four different microphone models and positions; for all soundfiles, A and B always represent the same source. Just have a listen and spot which is which, if you feel like.

For the most adventurous of you, there's the usual fully-functioning 30-days trial version, to be loaded into N4 or N4 Player, if you dare... :ud:

And here's the link to the manual, just in case.

Will definitely be checking this out. Surrey is awesome.

I do find the whole Nebula environment difficult in terms of extreme digital input sensitivity (crackling / impulse warping), slow GUI responsiveness, insanely high CPU (nearly impossible to record thru in realtime), high latency, etc - but the sound is pretty unmatched. I like how you split Surrey down into individual components which really helps manage CPU. Will you do the same with this plugin?

Anyway, a mid-60's Twin Reverb cleantone is my comfy foundation to build on with pedals. I wonder how your plugin takes gain pedals? Outside the box I use a Friedman BE-OD Deluxe pedal for super high gain.

I can confirm this.

In this video demo, for the lead sound I went through an emulation of a fuzz pedal, courtesy of Acustica's Aerostomp plug-in, then into Fullerton:

I'm quite happy about the result. 8)
