Buchla 258t tuning

Hi
I have the Buchla Tiptop 258t oscillator and love it
One gripe
While the knobs for tuning are yuge, connecting to a tuner it’s really hard to get it precisely to tuned notes
Is there any mod tricks i can do to make the knob move more clicky/slow or maybe something is wrong?
I have monster hands but still
It’s almost as painful as trying to tune a ms20 mini lol
